My name is Megan Gifford, and I live in the beautiful city of Enumclaw, WA. I have been married to my husband James for 10 years and we have 3 children and a black lab named Diesel. We are foster and adoptive parents so our family is always growing and changing!
Our children are Zachary age 8, he's my curious and funny one. Amada is 9 years old, and she is my beautiful, caring, and feisty little girl. Caleb is 11, and is my dreamer, loving and creative kid. My husband James is an electrician, and is my handyman extraordinaire! All of the things I am clumsy with and break, he is there to fix it!
As a family, we love getting outdoors to go hiking, camping, or any kind of exploring. We live on 8 acres and are surrounded by beautiful forests, so a lot of our exploring happens around our property. I love to do yoga and cook (especially baking), and I am a tea and chocolate lover! My husband loves my baking too, especially my chocolate chip cookies. Lastly, we are a football loving family. Go Seahawks!
Before starting my journey as a doula, I worked in the counseling field for 14 years. It was a wonderful experience, but I decided to hang up my counseling hat and follow a dream I had after the birth of my children, and went back to school to become a doula. Now as a doula I get the huge joy and honor of being a part of so many beautiful birth stories!
