I’m so happy to be over the half way mark…at last. The first 20 weeks seem to have gone very very slow but I am hoping things will zoom along now! I’m still feeling sick every day and vomiting every morning but I am functioning better than I was a few weeks ago. It’s the heart burn that is getting to me more than anything at the moment and the taste of Mylanta is only getting worse…Yuk! I’ve been drinking milk by the bucket load which helps for a few minutes and eating Rennies like they are going out of fashion but I just wish I felt normal!!!

More excitingly I had my 20 week ultrasound and saw the little heart beating and saw all the fingers and toes! Very active baby, moving around lots, which made it difficult for the sonographer to get all the shots needed but after walking around, going to the loo, standing while being prodded we finally got the profile of the nose with me on my belly!!  Mmmmm…does that mean we may have a naughty one coming our way…..I hope not!!

We didn’t find out what we are having although this week I am thinking a boy…..but we will see!

Names, names,names…..do you think my husband and I can agree on any names?!! The 2nd time around is proving much more difficult to come up with a name than it was for our first born. Hopefully we will have a little list ready by the time bubs arrives.
